Favourite and Least Favourite Couture

Its Couture season at last, time for embellishment beyond belief, the time for fashion to have an imagination. So instead of just posting each and every collection, i mean anyone can do that, i thought i would pick out my favourite and least collections and my favourite out of each show.

Elie Saab's collections featured a palette of pale beige to nude and dusty, violet, pastel blue, and oyster. Although a simple pallete,the dress were adorned with crystals. These dresses are sure to be at the Oscars. Look at those shoes also, wonder if they will be released?

Chanel, went for a clean almost minimalistic pallete, featuring monochromatic. I have to say this collection didn't excite me at all, usually i adore Chanel's collection but this just wasn't WOW.

P.S My dad bought me a laptop YAY, it should be here at the end of next week and its the Dell studio! I got it in black so i wouldnt get bored of the colour as im oh so fickle

I must apologise profusely for the lack of posts this week, it has not been fun. With a mind numbing, cold, which causes my lack of sleep. It also doesnt help that i had a flood of homework, and the fact i've just remembered i have history homework due for tomorrow and i havent done any of it!

Anyway whilist im sitting here blogging, a large wall in my room is sitting drying, the pale rosey pink paint wafts out a disgusting smell. Im so excited to, finally finish my room. Pics will be added within the next few days! The colour to be exact is dulux " sweetpink".

Did you know that colds make the yearning for shopping stronger. I've tried to satisfy my craving by making wishlists but that didn't not work on saturday night. I may have gently dropped something into my online basket, and quickly typed in my card details. Whoops! i meant to be saving for a laptop, a pink dell, either a studio or inspirion??

Isn't it just darling, its should be around mid thigh length wise but i think it will look fabulous with leggings (such a foul word) and a long cardigan. It looks like such a versatile piece for spring/summer, i just wish it would hurry up and get here.

Leighton Meester from Gossip girl, shes so gorgeous and doesn't help that people say i look like her! Shes actually a natural Blonde, you can see her natural hair colour in an ep of house, shes all over house and cuddy bans her from the hospital and its really funny!

Its great for taking on holiday, or shoving in my Speedy 30. It holds masses, and has three compartments.

Favourite Spring/Summer collection,
Elie Saab.
The colour palette was a mixture of a hydrangea blue, lavender, daffodil, and apple green. I love the simplicity and free flowing of the dresses, i dont see this on Elie saab's typical customer, young hollywood. Although i could see the dresses on the ever so gorgeous Selena Gomez, or Leighton meester, the classier of the young Hollywood bunch.

Favourite Nail colour
Brand New Skates by OPI, its a metallic grey with micro glitter and has a semi opaque finish! I adore it and its so unusual!

What is up with this outfit from Miley, she looks trashtastic!! I dont know where to start, the blue blue fringe boots ( i love the chestnut colour ones), the ripped to the max tights, the t-shirt pretending to be a dress...

In the midst of hoping to redecorate my room, i simply have to have this!

Colored Highlights

A slightly bouffant emo hair with side bangs that go across the forhead and are always parted to one side giving you a trendy yet elegant emo look. Popular colors for highlights currently tend to be blue, red and purple.

So im guessing you all remember "those" house of holland tees, you know, obnoxious colours, those trashy slogans? "I'll show you who's boss kate moss" which help launch Agyness deyns model career.

Do people actually buy their runway collection?
Because for the last few seasons, i havent seen anything remotely amazing about them. It was A/W 2008 which produced that uttertly vile tartan.

So unsuprisingly after looking at this spring collection, i found it difficult to come up with anythng remotely nice!

Atchoo

Sniff, Snizzle, Atchoo is what my vocal range sounds like today! And one of our dogs is also feeling coldy! poor brook, i just had to capture a picture of him sleeping!

And of course i had to add a picture of my dog as he was feeling left out, he's such a jealous dog lol!

So dont know if you remember my hair disaster story?New Hair --- pics. But i thought i would give you guys a little update on it! I absolutely love love it, Ive not touched it since, and its faded to such a lovely colour.

So what are your beauty/fashion goals

- Try to look less casual on a daily basis
- Keep my make up case organized!
- Exercise more
- Buy/wear more headbands and jewellery
- Find some great summer casual dresses

Although like me you feel all ready for summer to come our way, and the thought of more winter is miserable here are some inspiration pics!

Sale goodies and " your a vampire"

Hola!

So that's about all the Spanish i know, ha ha. But i do know that it great to be back!

I finally went to see twilight with my mom, who is seriously addicted too! its only be out since the 20th December. And oh my gosh, is it such a great film, casting was excellent except i thought Calisle and Jasper were just not quite right! We went to a early showing, so it was like empty ha ha. Thank god they decided to keep Jacob Lautner! The best scene in the whole movie was when she turned up for biology class, and she thought, he thought she smelt.

This is what i wore! Casual, cute and comfy! Brooke decided to make an apperance in the photo, although im sure he's spotted a cat as thats his " yum cat" look haha.

So in the sales, i bought a polo and tee from jack wills, super cute and great qualilty. I love the fact that they arent made in china or indonesia in a sweatshop but in portugal!

And now for the best bargin of the century...

Pink CHI's for £30! retail price was £100, from sally's beauty salon. They are the best flat iron I've ever owned. I adore sally's, they can be cheap for somethings and expensive for somethings, i would really recommend going down to your local sally's as they have great sales on at the moment, up to 60% off! Fortunately i got the last pink pair yay. As you can tell, I'm obsessed with pink!

So after waiting over a week or so for the computer to come back, i can FINALLY do my Christmas haul/ Sales Post.

Our tree, we kind of felt sorry for him as he doesn't have many branches! We called him Rufus, it's sad when you take down Christmas decorations as it means its not here for another year!

Just a little update

So still no computer, which sucks beyond belief!

Im currently borrowing my moms computer while she is cleaning, so i thought id do a little update!

I have many marvelous things to show you once the computer is back!, i got some wonderful things in the sales! and of course the all important Christmas haul.

I had a bit of palaver with some nail polish i got for christmas, i ordered them on the 15th of december in time for christmas with fast delivery. I waited and waited for the parcel, the tracking hadnt been updated since 19th stating they were in hawaii still!!! so, after christmas i was annoyed. I rang up to find out where they were and the international people had to contact USPS to ask them to sort it out. To my suprise they arrived on the 2nd! Cant wait to show you swatches!

Off to watch sex and the city on sky box office, gasp i know, i cant believe i havent seen it yet! But i was too busy and then sick when it came out, i forgot about it coming out on dvd so im going to eat chocolate and enjoy!
